Cookies with Mama

Right before Christmas, Ella helped me whip up some sugar cookies. She loves to help in the kitchen, which means that I sometimes have to wait until she's sleeping to get my bigger projects done. This morning she helped me make a cranberry coffee cake. It's baking at this very moment. I'm looking forward to a taste a little later!

so our first batch was a little crumbly, but the rest turned out just right
